Delete Your Vibz Account

You can permanently delete your Vibz account and associated data at any time by following the steps below.

How to delete your account

1. Open the Vibz app on your device.
2. Tap your Profile icon.
3. Go to Account Settings → Account.
4. Tap Delete account.
5. Confirm your decision when prompted.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

What gets deleted

• Your profile, display name, and phone number
• All content you have posted to channels or feeds
• Messages you sent. Messages written by other people, and the shared conversation record, may remain, with your account shown as a deleted user
• Your followers, following, and block lists
• Your device tokens and push notification registrations
• Your Signal Protocol identity keys and encryption key material

What may be retained

• Abuse / safety records — records of a policy violation, including any report and the decision made on it, are kept as described in our Privacy Policy. The phone number stored on your account is erased. Retained safety evidence may still contain information someone supplied in a report, or data preserved as required by law.
• Legal holds — data subject to a valid law-enforcement hold or court order is retained for the duration of that hold.
• NCMEC reports — any CyberTipline reports submitted about associated account activity or content cannot be retracted after submission.
