Delete Your Vibz Account

You can permanently delete your Vibz account and associated data at any time by following the steps below.

How to delete your account

1. Open the Vibz app on your device.
2. Tap your Profile icon.
3. Go to Settings → Account.
4. Tap Delete Account.
5. Confirm your decision when prompted.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

What gets deleted

• Your profile, display name, and phone number
• All content you have posted to channels or feeds
• All direct messages and group conversations
• Your followers, following, and block lists
• Your device tokens and push notification registrations
• Your Signal Protocol identity keys and encryption key material

What may be retained

• Abuse / safety records — if your account was flagged, suspended, or banned for a policy violation, we retain a minimal record (hashed identifier and violation type) for up to 7 years to prevent re-registration and comply with legal obligations.
• Legal holds — data subject to a valid law-enforcement hold or court order is retained for the duration of that hold.
• Billing records — if you made purchases, transaction receipts are retained for 7 years as required by US tax law.
• NCMEC reports — any CyberTipline reports filed on your behalf cannot be retracted after submission.
